HOW TO USE ELECTRIC INK

COSMETIC LINE

The entire Electric Ink cosmetic line is made with natural raw materials and contains no animal-derived ingredients commonly found in industrial cosmetics, ensuring a completely vegan formulation.

PRE-TATTOO CARE

Skin Scrub Out

Prepare your skin for the tattoo process with our Skin Scrub Out exfoliating gel. This product is designed to remove dead skin cells and impurities, creating a smooth and clean surface for tattooing.

  • Start by applying a sufficient amount of Skin Scrub Out onto the area to be tattooed.

  • Gently massage the gel in a circular motion. This helps exfoliate the skin, making the tattoo process less aggressive and safer.

  • Rinse thoroughly with Clean up/Prep to wash away any exfoliated debris.

Tattoo Prep

After exfoliating, prepare your skin for the tattoo process with our Electric Ink Tattoo Prep foam. This product is enriched with Aloe Vera and Chamomile extracts, which hydrate, soothe, and prime the skin for tattooing.

  • Start by applying Electric Ink Tattoo Prep onto the area to be tattooed, either directly on the skin or on disposable absorbent paper.

  • Spread the foam evenly across the area. This makes hair removal easier and ensures your skin is clean and ready for the tattoo.

  • Remove excess foam with absorbent paper—no rinsing needed.

STENCILING

Transfer IT

After preparing your skin, secure your tattoo stencil with Electric Ink Transfer It. This product provides extra fixation, ensuring the stencil stays in place for precise and long-lasting results without drying out the skin.

  • Start by applying an even layer of Electric Ink Transfer It onto the area where the stencil will be placed.

  • Spread the gel evenly to ensure full coverage of the stencil, enhancing precision and definition.

  • Allow the gel to dry completely before beginning the tattooing process.

Stencil Fix

Secure your stencil or freehand work with Stencil Fix spray. Designed for professional use, this spray helps maintain clear and durable markings throughout the tattoo process.

  • After applying the stencil with Tattoo Stencil Transfer It or creating your design with the Electric Ink Drawing Pen, spray Stencil Fix onto absorbent paper.

  • Gently press the paper onto the stencil or drawing for 5 seconds to ensure proper fixation. For freehand designs made with the Drawing Pen, you can spray Stencil Fix directly onto the skin from a suitable distance.

DURING THE TATTOO

Tattoo Clean Up

Keep your tattoo area clean and irritation-free during the tattooing process with Electric Ink Tattoo Clean Up foam. This product helps neutralize pigments, reduce irritation, and maintain the ideal pH for smooth, clean work.

  • During the tattoo process, apply Electric Ink Tattoo Clean Up directly to the tattooed area.

  • Gently spread the foam evenly over the skin to cleanse and soothe the area.

  • Thoroughly clean the entire area using disposable paper.

Tattoo Vaseline Slip/Slip Premium & Cat Slobber Butter

Hydrate the skin during tattooing with Tattoo Vaseline Slip/Slip Premium or Cat Slobber Butter. Those products ensure smooth needle movement and skin protection, while Cat Slobber, enriched with Shea Butter, Mango, and Aloe Vera, provides additional healing benefits for aftercare process.

  • Start with clean, dry skin. Remove the security seal, and use a spatula to scoop out the necessary amount. Apply a thin, even layer over the tattooed area.

  • Gently massage the product into the skin to ensure even coverage.

  • Reapply as often as necessary throughout the tattooing process to maintain skin hydration and facilitate smooth needle movement.

Slimer Tattoo Gel

Keep your skin refreshed and reduce redness during the tattoo process with our Slimer Tattoo Gel. Its water-based formula with mint essence soothes the skin, minimizes the burning sensation, and prevents dryness, making it an excellent alternative to vaseline or butter.

  • Start by applying a sufficient amount of Slimer Tattoo Gel to the tattooed area.

  • Gently spread the gel over the skin to reduce redness and provide a refreshing, soothing effect. The redness typically fades within 5-10 minutes.

  • Reapply as needed, especially during breaks, to maintain skin hydration and comfort throughout the tattooing process.

AFTER THE TATTOO

FOR PROFESSIONALS

Tattoo After All

Care for your freshly tattooed skin with Tattoo After All. This antiseptic product soothes the skin, reduces redness, and promotes faster healing, ensuring your skin is well-prepared for the next steps.

  • Apply Tattoo After All to the cleaned, tattooed area.

  • Gently pat the skin dry with a soft paper. No rinsing is necessary.

  • Experience calmer, cleaner skin that is optimally prepared for healing with Tattoo After All.

Tattoo Barrier Film

After cleaning the tattoo with After All, apply the Tattoo Barrier Film. This "second skin" creates a transparent, breathable, and flexible barrier that protects the tattoo from external contaminants and supports the healing process. Follow your tattoo artist's instructions for timing, typically applying the film once the initial fluid secretion has subsided. For home use, refer to the Home Care tips below to maximize the effectiveness of the Tattoo Barrier Film.

  • After applying Tattoo After All and drying the area, apply a layer of Tattoo Barrier Film over the tattoo.

  • Allow the film to dry completely.

  • To remove, rinse with warm water or, for best results, use Tattoo Clean Up for easier and gentler removal.

HOME CARE

FOR CLIENTS

Tattoo After All

Once you remove the Tattoo Barrier Film, clean the tattooed area with After All to keep it clean, reduce irritation, and support the healing process.

Cat Slobber

Continue your aftercare routine with Cat Slobber, available in both standard pots and convenient monodoses. Use it daily to hydrate the skin and promote healing, ensuring your tattoo stays vibrant. The monodoses are perfect for on-the-go care, while the pot offers a larger supply for consistent use at home as a cream.

Tattoo Barrier Film

Use Tattoo Barrier Film for the first 2 days, particularly for small or medium tattoos. This protective film shields the area from irritants while allowing the skin to breathe during the initial healing phase. After 2 days, discontinue use and switch to regular cleaning and moisturizing.
