14-Day Return Window: You have 14 days from the date of delivery to return eligible products for a full refund.

1. Eligibility for Returns

Returnable Products

The following products can be returned within 14 days if they meet our conditions:

  • Tattoo machines and equipment (unused, in original packaging)
  • Power supplies and cables (unopened, sealed)
  • Grips and tubes (unused, in original packaging)
  • Practice skins and training materials (unopened)
  • Furniture and studio equipment (unassembled, original packaging)

Non-Returnable Products

For Health and Safety Reasons: The following items cannot be returned once opened:

  • Tattoo needles (any quantity, once packaging is opened)
  • Tattoo inks (once seal is broken)
  • Hygiene products (barriers, gloves, masks)
  • Aftercare products (once opened)
  • Sterilization pouches (once opened)

2. Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, products must meet all of the following conditions:

Include your order number, product name, and reason for return. We'll verify eligibility and provide return instructions.

Carefully pack the item in its original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and components included.

Ship the Return

Send the package to the address provided. We recommend using tracked shipping for your protection.

Receive Your Refund

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund within 5-7 business days.

4. Return Shipping Costs

Customer Responsibility

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or we made an error
  • We recommend using a tracked shipping method
  • Electric Ink Ireland is not responsible for items lost in return transit

Our Responsibility

We will cover return shipping costs in the following cases:

  • The product received was defective or damaged
  • We shipped the wrong product
  • The product does not match the description on our website

5. Refund Process

Inspection

All returns are inspected upon receipt. We will notify you via email once we've received and inspected your return.

Refund Method

  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method
  • If the original payment method is unavailable, we may issue store credit

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be granted in the following situations:

  • Product shows signs of use or installation
  • Missing accessories, manuals, or parts
  • Damaged packaging (not caused during shipping)
  • Product returned after 14 days but within 30 days

6. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct product exchanges. If you wish to exchange a product:

  1. Return the original product following our return process
  2. Place a new order for the desired product on our website
  3. Once your return is processed, you'll receive a refund for the original purchase

7. Defective or Damaged Products

Report Immediately: If you receive a defective or damaged product, contact us within 48 hours of delivery for priority handling.

What We Need

  • Photos of the damaged product and packaging
  • Description of the defect or damage
  • Order number and product details

Our Resolution

For defective or damaged products, we will offer:

  • Full refund including return shipping costs
  • Replacement product shipped at no charge
  • Store credit for the full purchase amount

8. Refused Refunds

We reserve the right to refuse a refund if:

  • The product is not in its original condition
  • The product shows signs of use or installation
  • The return is initiated after 14 days (exceptions may apply)
  • The product is on our non-returnable list
  • Missing components or accessories
  • The product was damaged due to misuse

9. Cancellations

Before Shipment

Orders can be cancelled for a full refund before they are shipped. Contact us immediately at contact@electricink.ie.

After Shipment

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. You must follow our return process once you receive the product.
